EVENING RECITALS

Each evening at 8:15 PM we have recitals performed by staff, counselors, and campers. The recitals offer a great opportunity for the musicians to perform in a supportive, encouraging environment. It is also a wonderful chance for the audience to hear and watch a wide variety of musical styles and ability levels. All campers are encouraged (but not required) to perform on a recital. If this is something you may wish to consider, please bring a few pieces of music and the piano accompaniment (if appropriate) with you to camp. Small ensembles that form while at camp also perform at recitals.

FINAL CAMP CONCERT

The final camp concert will be performed on Saturday, August 18 at 1 PM. The concert will include performances by the Senior Jazz Ensemble, Junior and Senior Concert Bands, Symphony Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, and Junior and Senior High Choruses. It usually lasts about 2.5 hours. Following the concert, campers must remember to gather all their possessions, including their concert clothes and instruments (yes, instruments have been left - the camper thought that the parent had it or vice-versa!).

Parents are invited to bring their own folding chairs.  Snacks, beverages, camp clothing, cabin pictures, Concert and Recital CDs, will be available for purchase at the Camp Store.  Please be prepared with small bills.
